Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Assistant to join our Real Estate/Finance & Restructuring team in our Phoenix office. This is a hybrid position, with a requirement of at least 4 days per week in the office. As a Legal Assistant at Dorsey & Whitney, you will provide crucial administrative support to our attorneys and paralegals, while also having the opportunity to work with clients and other professionals within the firm. We value strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide administrative support to multiple attorneys and paralegals
- Communicate with clients, service providers, and other employees within the firm
- Proofread, edit, and draft correspondence and other legal documents for accuracy
- Assist with time entry, opening new matters, and processing expense reimbursements
- Manage attorney calendars and scheduling
- File paper and electronic documents accurately and efficiently
- Assist other legal assistants with work overflow and vacation coverage as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to attorneys and clients
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

- At least 4 years of legal assistant experience
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent client service focus and skills
- Experience with Federal and State Court filing systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with all levels of personnel
- Flexibility with work hours and occasional overtime
- High School diploma or . equivalent
