Patent Agent
The candidate will be responsible for working with the firm's clients and counsel in all aspects of the patent practice, including in evaluating invention disclosures, preparing and prosecuting patent applications, and working on proceedings in the USPTO. Must have an advanced degree or 3+ years of industry experience in medicinal chemistry or synthetic organic chemistry. Should have superior academic credentials, with a background in one of the following fields: natural products synthesis, design and synthesis of small molecule drugs, development of synthetic organic methodologies, and SAR analysis of drug candidates. Previous law firm or industry experience and current Patent Bar membership would be preferred. Candidates with strong scientific backgrounds who have not passed the Patent Bar exam will be considered.
