As a Legal Specialist II, you will be responsible for providing legal support services for multiple states, enterprise-wide functions, and complex litigation. This includes conducting legal research and analysis, preparing legal documents such as contracts and pleadings, and attending legal proceedings as a representative of the company. You will also monitor state and federal legislation and assist with regulatory compliance, making recommendations for changes in regulations and laws that may affect the corporation. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong understanding of legal processes and procedures, excellent research and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Additionally, familiarity with state and federal insurance and healthcare-related laws and regulations, as well as experience with provider contracts, is highly desirable.
