Job Title: Litigation Assistant at a Leading Personal Injury Law Firm in Savannah, Georgia

Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant, legal assistant, legal secretary, or paralegal, preferably in a law firm or corporate legal department
- Experience in Personal Injury, WC, Premises, or other injury related practice areas is preferred

Responsibilities:
- Managing the law firm's day-to-day operations
- Performing administrative duties such as scheduling calendar hearings and deadlines, organizing case files, and managing logistics
- Maintaining pleadings and discovery indexes
- Organizing exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Implementing and improving upon administrative processes for more efficient workflow
- Collecting, examining, and organizing evidence and other legal documents for attorney review and case preparation
- Drafting and proofreading correspondence and legal documents, such as pleadings and contracts
- Researching regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice
- Managing client billing and resolving billing issues in cooperation with the billing attorney
- Communicating with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
- Managing, organizing, and maintaining documents in paper or electronic filing systems

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associates degree in paralegal studies, a paralegal certificate, or a bachelor's degree is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and handle a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Great written and communication skills
- Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, and litigation documentation
- Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong writing and communication skills with attention to detail
- Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, and typing speed of at least 35 words per minute
