The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of both US and foreign patent lifecycles, as well as experience with electronic filing and docketing. - Prepare and prosecute patent applications domestically and internationally
- Assist attorneys with drafting and editing prosecution documents
- Work with foreign counsel for patent applications outside of the US
- Review notices of allowance and assist with preparation of declarations and certificates of correction
- Maintain and update dockets
- Prepare status reports and client-requested reports
- File individual actions as needed
- Meet minimum billable hour and performance requirements

Position Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Associates Degree or Paralegal Certificate with equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong understanding of US and foreign patent lifecycles
- Familiarity with electronic filing and docketing systems
- Knowledge of annuities/renewals and patent docket databases
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, legal environment and manage time effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team
