Law Firm Seeks Employment Litigation Associate with 4+ Years Experience
Kaufman Dolowich, a highly regarded law firm, is seeking an Employment Defense Litigation Associate for their San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, wage & hour, and employment contract cases. This is a great opportunity to join a growing and dynamic firm with over 200 attorneys nationwide.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies for employment litigation cases
- Draft pleadings and other legal documents
- Conduct depositions and defend depositions
- Argue motions in court
- Provide advice and counsel on workplace law issues
- Review and analyze federal and state employment statutes
- Assist with employee relations and risk mitigation
- Negotiate and draft employment agreements
- Handle reductions-in-force and employment-related policies
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (.) from an ABA accredited Law School
- Experience with employment law and litigation
- Familiarity with federal and state employment statutes
- Admitted to the California bar
- Strong academic credentials
Compensation Information
- Total annual compensation range: $130,000 - $175,000
- Actual compensation may vary based on skills, experience, location, and other job-related factors permitted by law
- Additional benefits include annual discretionary bonus, performance-based bonus, unlimited PTO, professional and client development opportunities, and comprehensive benefits package
