Associate Attorney
Candidate must be admitted to practice in New York. Must have: 4 years of Long-term disability, Social Security, Disability Retirement Pension or similar experience. Experience with persuasive writing. Experience managing client relations. Experience managing paralegals and support staff. Compassion, patience, and the ability to give clear advice. Entrepreneurial mindset and career aspirations. Strong computer skills. We have state-of-the-art systems and a paperless office. Strong communications and interpersonal skills to support interactions with clients, potential clients, doctor’s offices, and insurance companies. Familiarity with medical records, medical/psychological terminology and insurance company practices is helpful. Must be: highly proactive in completing assigned work and winning client’s claims; an effective communicator, with strong written and verbal communications skills; and able to work efficiently under pressure with attention to detail and deadlines.
