Key responsibilities for this role include:

- Providing support for US patent prosecution and collaborating with attorneys, patent specialists, paralegals, and clients.
- Preparing, reviewing, and filing US and PCT patent applications, responses, and issue fees.
- Drafting correspondence to clients regarding the status of patent applications and matters.
- Reporting USPTO and PCT correspondence and notifications.
- Managing client portfolios, including preparing and maintaining status reports, charts, and various projects and tasks.
- Drafting, filing, and reporting IDS and IDS reference management.
- Managing dockets, monitoring deadlines, and communicating with appropriate parties to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Reviewing and organizing documents and emails in the firm's document management system.
- Completing special projects as assigned.
- Providing administrative support for patent-related tasks.
- Supporting client services by preparing and processing reports, coordinating meetings, and meeting with client patent paralegals.
- Reporting filings and notifications to clients through client portals.
- Reviewing client proformas and making edits for attorneys.
- Maintaining accurate daily time records for client billing and statistical purposes.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

- Minimum of two years of experience as a patent prosecution paralegal, legal secretary, or in a comparable position.
- Experience with electronic filing procedures for the USPTO.
- Excellent knowledge of USPTO and PCT rules and procedures.
- High level of proficiency with technology, including Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and other internet research tools.
- Good working knowledge of timekeeping software and document management systems.
- Excellent client service skills.
- Ability to collaborate with others and take on assignments.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
