As a Resource Attorney for the Public Companies practice group at Cooley, you will be responsible for keeping up to date on all legal and regulatory developments in the field, developing resources for the practice group, and coordinating with other departments to ensure efficient and effective services. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in representing Public Companies, with a focus on current and periodic reporting and corporate governance. A successful candidate will have strong communication and drafting skills, as well as knowledge of the industries that Cooley advises. The expected annual pay range for this position is $220,000 - $325,000, with final offer amount dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset. Responsibilities:

- Keep current on legal and regulatory developments in the Public Companies practice area
- Develop resources and materials for the practice group, such as client alerts and practice guides
- Maintain and update forms and templates, ensuring they reflect current legal developments and industry standards
- Coordinate with other departments to support business development efforts and skills development for the practice group
- Utilize technology to improve efficiency and delivery of services within the practice group

Qualifications:

- Licensed attorney with a minimum of 5 years of experience in representing Public Companies
- Mastery of the Public Companies practice area
- Knowledge of industries regularly advised by Cooley
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident and engaging presenter
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

Salary Information:

- Expected annual pay range of $220,000 - $325,000
- Final offer amount dependent on geographic location, experience, and skillset
