Responsibilities:
- Perform research, sequence management, and searching
- Investigate inventorship issues
- Manage intake of invention disclosures and review for patentability, novelty, and non-obviousness
- Evaluate prior art and analyze scientific or technical documents
- Draft new patent applications and convert provisional and foreign filed applications
- Prepare replies to US and foreign office actions
- Assist with prosecution, interviews, and appeals
- Meet with clients to discuss inventions and potential patent claims
- Prepare clearance analyses

Education and Experience:
- Advanced degree in a biological field with excellent academic credentials
- At least two years of related experience in life sciences
- Strong writing and research abilities, written and verbal communication skills, and organizational skills
