Non-Judicial Foreclosure TX - Associate at Aldridge Pite, LLP

The Aldridge Pite, LLP law firm is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join their team in the state of Texas. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package offered. The ideal candidate will have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and a minimum of five years of litigation experience, with foreclosure experience being a plus. The Associate Attorney will primarily handle residential real estate litigation, mortgage and transactional matters, and will also be responsible for protecting the client's interests in court proceedings and general collection cases.

Key Responsibilities:

- Attend mediations, trials, and hearings as required
- Willingness and ability to travel as needed
- Work collaboratively with team members
- Write articles and make presentations to clients and trade associations
- Participate in marketing initiatives and business development
- Manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases
- Assist with other duties and special projects as needed

Requirements:

- Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
- Minimum of five years of litigation/courtroom experience, with foreclosure experience being a plus
- Member of the Texas state Bar with all necessary licensing and continuing legal education requirements
- Subject matter expert in their field
- Experience managing employees and P&L responsibility
- Proficient in legal research and writing
- Skilled in taking and defending depositions
- Strong drafting skills for pleadings, briefs, affidavits, discovery, proposed orders, correspondence, memoranda, and opinion letters
- Familiarity with Fastcase or Westlaw
- Knowledgeable about evidence rules and civil procedure in both state and federal court
