Perkins Coie LLP, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking a highly motivated Trademark Paralegal to join their team in various locations including Seattle, WA, San Diego, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, and Madison, WI. As a Trademark Paralegal, you will work closely with attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of . and foreign trademark and copyright matters. This includes conducting searches, managing enforcement actions, and assisting with due diligence. You will also have the opportunity to work on a variety of other tasks, including drafting and filing trademark and copyright applications, communicating with foreign associates, and managing internet domain names.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of experience as an IP/Trademark paralegal. Experience in a mid to large-sized law firm is highly preferred, and a paralegal certificate is also preferred. Additionally, you must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as strong project management and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist attorneys in the clearance and prosecution of . and foreign trademark and copyright matters
- Draft and file trademark and copyright applications
- Communicate with foreign associates regarding international trademark matters
- Manage internet domain names
- Review and maintain docket deadlines with excellent accuracy
- Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality
- Keep accurate time and billing records
- Comply with clients' billing requirements

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5-7 years of IP/Trademark paralegal experience
- Experience in a mid to large-sized law firm preferred
- Paralegal certificate preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent project management and problem-solving abilities
