The Global Practice Support Assistant role at Kirkland & Ellis is a customer service-oriented position that supports an assigned group of attorneys. The primary responsibility is to assist associates in navigating through the firm. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to adapt to new software and programs quickly. The selected candidate will also have the opportunity to be a part of the Firm's Global Support System (GPS) and participate in the initiative of providing a strong support system for new associates. This role requires a professional and highly motivated individual who can thrive in a fast-paced legal environment. This position involves a variety of essential job functions, including administrative support, legal support, and records management. The Global Practice Support Assistant will use various software and programs to prepare and revise documents, transcribe dictation, and maintain files. They will also be responsible for providing support to the Firm's global PA team and fostering professional relationships with peers, superiors, and clients. The ideal candidate will exhibit a professional demeanor, adhere to Firm policies, and maintain a positive and flexible attitude when dealing with colleagues and clients.
