Are you a dynamic and experienced Paralegal Supervisor looking for a new opportunity? Join our growing team at Freeman Mathis & Gary, a national litigation firm with over 350 lawyers and 36 offices across 21 states. We are seeking a highly organized and knowledgeable individual to assist in overseeing our Paralegal Department and manage their own caseload. Responsibilities:

- Oversee the Firm's Paralegal Department and manage a caseload
- Assist with onboarding, training, and overseeing day-to-day tasks of paralegal team
- Coordinate assignments and workflow, provide training, and maintain daily contact with attorneys and support staff
- Monitor and assign paralegal support to matters and ensure all deadlines are met
- Assist with recruiting and onboarding paralegals
- Analyze and report on paralegals' time and performance
- Provide support to attorneys with case organization, document management, witness interviews, discovery matters, administrative tasks, and trials
- Conduct legal research and summarize case records
- Organize and maintain case files and coordinate with legal assistants and other staff
- Maintain positive relationships with attorneys, clients, and vendors

Skills and Knowledge:

- 5-7 years of defense litigation paralegal experience
- Familiarity with the litigation process and legal research
- Experience billing for work and meeting monthly billing targets
- Leadership and supervisor experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other legal software programs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritize tasks, and manage changing priorities and pressure situations
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with a wide variety of people at all levels of the organization

Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
- Certificate in Paralegal studies preferred
- Civil litigation and/or employment litigation experience required
- Familiarity with web-based legal research services and electronic file setting
- iManage experience a plus
- Must successfully pass a background/drug screen

Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 annually
