Job Summary The Employee Relations Partner is a crucial role in ensuring a positive work environment for both managers and employees. This position is responsible for providing guidance and support in handling employee issues, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations. The Employee Relations Partner will also work closely with operational management and HR business partners to develop solutions for complex employee relations matters. Responsibilities and Duties - Oversee and manage employee relations cases in the ServiceNow and Navex systems - Conduct fair and timely investigations in accordance with company policies and federal/state regulations - Provide guidance to managers on handling employee conflicts, disciplinary actions, and terminations - Collaborate with operational management, HR business partners, labor relations, and legal teams to develop solutions for complex employee relations issues - Ensure compliance with relevant clauses in union collective bargaining agreements (if applicable) - Stay up-to-date on legal requirements and employment legislation within the region - Travel to company sites within the supported region as needed Skills and Abilities - Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of policies and regulations - Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills - Impartiality and strong conflict resolution skills - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written - Ability to build and maintain professional relationships at all levels of the organization - Strong ability to handle confidential information - Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision - Flexibility and ability to excel in a fast-paced environment - Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up practices - Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent major OR additional four years of relevant experience - 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations - Proficiency in MS Office suite and knowledge of employment laws and regulations Salary Information - Salary range: $60K - $70K - Salary is determined based on internal equity, market data, applicant's skills, relevant experience, and certain degrees or certifications.
