Overview:

- We are seeking an exceptional Lawyer to join our Employment Litigation team as a Senior Counsel or Vice President, based in New York City.
- This is a hybrid role, offering the opportunity to work both remotely and onsite.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all aspects of employment litigation and related administrative proceedings in New York and other states, including California.
- Provide legal advice and counseling to various Fox business units on employment law matters, such as harassment, discrimination, retaliation, hiring, discipline, terminations, leaves of absence, accommodations, wage and hour issues, and employee investigations.
- Conduct seminars for employees on relevant topics and prepare materials for these presentations.
- Conduct legal research, create and revise company policies and procedures, and prepare legal memos for HR and executives.
- Draft and review vendor and consulting agreements, including HR-related global sourcing contracts.

Requirements:

- Law degree with 6-8 years of employment litigation experience, preferably with a combination of law firm and in-house experience at a public company.
- Ability to develop and implement litigation strategies.
- Extensive experience advising and counseling in-house clients on employment law matters.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Sound judgment and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Active membership in the New York Bar preferred.

Salary Information:

- Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $222,, annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY.
- Final offer amount will depend on education, skills, experience, and location.
- This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
- Union represented employees will receive benefits in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
