**Law Firm** is seeking an entry-level project finance paralegal to join its New York City office. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience and insight into law, business, and finance for those considering business or law school. The successful candidate must possess intelligence, excellent writing and speaking skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.

**Job Description:**
- Assist attorneys throughout the lifecycle of financing transactions, including conducting project diligence, drafting certificates, attending meetings, and assembling documents
- Perform legal research, assist with transaction closings, fill out government forms, and perform financial calculations
- Monitor news outlets, draft proposals to prospective clients, write client memos and newsletters, prepare billing invoices, and coordinate meetings
- Demonstrate a poised, professional comportment when interacting with clients

**Requirements:**
- Bachelor’s degree and high class standing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Background or interest in statistics, mathematics, and American government is helpful
- Attention to detail
- Minimum 2-year commitment

**Compensation:**
- Annual salary of $54,000 - $65,000
- Benefits and overtime
- Relocation expenses are the responsibility of the candidate
