Foley & Lardner, a leading law firm, is currently seeking a Director, Paralegals to manage their paraprofessional program across all three law departments - Business Law, Intellectual Property, and Litigation. This is a full-time, exempt position with a hybrid work schedule of 40+ hours per week. The Director will drive the firm's strategic direction and management of recruiting, onboarding, training, performance management, and compensation for the paraprofessional team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain a firm-wide paraprofessional program focused on providing superior client support
- Analyze and recommend changes to existing paraprofessional programs and staffing structures for process improvement
- Implement and maintain consistent hiring criteria and development frameworks across all law departments
- Support professional development through onboarding, integration, and ongoing training programs
- Address attorney and client needs and create workflow coverage plans for paraprofessionals
- Monitor utilization and realization of paraprofessionals and adjust resources as needed
- Collaborate with legal departments and finance on paraprofessional billing rates
- Prepare and oversee budget for paraprofessional program

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree required
- Minimum of 10 years of legal and/or paraprofessional experience, with 5 years of managerial experience
- Experience working with paraprofessionals in multiple practice areas preferred

The expected salary range for this position is $171,800 - $280,100, based on factors such as education, experience, and geographic market. The actual salary offered will be determined based on these factors and internal pay equity at Foley.
