The Investment Management Associate will be responsible for:
• Providing legal advice and guidance to clients on a variety of investment management matters
• Assisting with the preparation and review of registration statements and offering documents for registered investment companies and private funds
• Drafting and reviewing investment management agreements, board meeting materials, and other related materials
• Conducting legal research and analysis on various investment management topics
• Communicating with clients and other attorneys within the firm on a regular basis
• Managing and delegating tasks to junior associates and legal assistants
• Participating in business development and marketing efforts for the Investment Management Practice Group

Requirements:
• At least five-seven years’ experience in the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related regulations
• Experience representing registered investment companies, private funds, and investment advisers
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the bar in the state where the candidate is located
