# Litigation Paralegal ## Job Description Frost Brown Todd LLP, a national law firm with 1000+ legal and business professionals in sixteen offices, is currently searching for a full-time litigation paralegal to join our Houston office. Candidates should have 3+ years of litigation experience and must be able to juggle multiple time-sensitive assignments. Candidates should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, business acumen, outstanding attention to detail, and a teamwork focus. ## Responsibilities * Researching and analyzing sources such as statutes, recorded judicial decisions, legal articles, legal codes, etc. * Preparing legal documents such as briefs, pleadings, appeals, etc. for review, approval, and use by attorneys. * Investigating facts and law of case to determine causes of action and to prepare case accordingly. * Filing pleadings with court clerk personally and electronically. * Preparing affidavits of documents and maintaining document files. * Delivering or directing delivery of subpoenas to witnesses and parties to action. ## Requirements * required. * 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word. * Strong verbal and written communication skills. * Extraordinary attention to detail and strong organizational skills. * Comfortable performing repetitive tasks. * Ability to work well under tight deadlines, prioritize, and multi-task when needed. * Ability to work individually or in team environment. ## Benefits Frost Brown Todd offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life, disability, and 401k/profit sharing retirement package.
