The ideal candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience with renewable energy tax credits, including financings and M&A pertaining to wind energy, solar energy projects, carbon capture and sequestration, and other major energy transition projects. ## Job Summary Law Firm is looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Associate to join its Energy & Infrastructure Tax practice. The successful candidate should have a minimum of three years of experience with renewable energy tax credits, including financings and M&A pertaining to wind energy, solar energy projects, carbon capture and sequestration, and other major energy transition projects. This position is based in the Washington, . and New York offices and offers a competitive salary. ## Job Responsibilities The Associate will be responsible for: * Documenting and negotiating tax equity transactions for sponsors and/or tax equity investors * Familiarity with partnership tax rules * Drafting and negotiating tax provisions of partnership agreements, credit agreements, and related documentation for clients in the US power sector and energy transition sector * Providing tax background in general M&A transactions ## Qualifications * of experience with renewable energy tax credits, including financings and M&A pertaining to wind energy, solar energy projects, carbon capture and sequestration, and other major energy transition projects * Experience with documenting and negotiating tax equity transactions for sponsors and/or tax equity investors * Knowledge of partnership tax rules * Experience drafting and negotiating tax provisions of partnership agreements, credit agreements, and related documentation * Tax background in general M&A transactions ## Salary Competitive.
