Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP, a growing and collaborative AmLaw 50 firm, is currently seeking an experienced Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate to join our team. This position is available in our Chicago, Los Angeles, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, or Washington, . offices.

As an ideal candidate, you will have 4-6 years of experience advising on employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, fiduciary governance, and nonqualified plans. You will also have experience advising on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions, including ESOP transactions. Excellent writing skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solving attitude are essential for this role, along with strong academic credentials. Previous experience in a large law firm is preferred, but not required.

Salary Information:
- New York Office: $270,000 - $305,000 (Actual initial salary may vary based on relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors)
- Additional components of Faegre Drinker's total compensation and benefits package for attorneys include productivity and discretionary bonuses, life, health, accident, and disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

- Advise on employee benefits matters, including qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, fiduciary governance, and nonqualified plans
- Provide guidance on compensation and benefits issues in corporate transactions, including ESOP transactions
- Demonstrate excellent writing skills and attention to detail
- Maintain a can-do, problem-solving attitude
- Possess intrinsic motivation and strong academic credentials

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience in employee benefits and executive compensation law
- Experience in a large law firm preferred, but not required
- Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
- Admission to the state bar in the desired office location
