Law Firm seeks Trademark Paralegal with 4-10 years of experience to join their Intellectual Property & Technology (IP&T) practice group in Chicago, St. Louis, Washington, . or New York. This full-time position will support the local IP&T Practitioners and the national IP&T Practice Group. The ideal candidate will have a and at least 4 years of experience working in a trademark department. Experience with copyrights is a plus.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and file . trademark prosecution and maintenance documents electronically with the USPTO
- Conduct trademark screening searches using third party search platforms
- Correspond with clients regarding routine phases of trademark prosecution and maintenance matters
- Assist attorneys in TTAB filings
- Prepare and file trademark documents with WIPO
- Work with and correspond with foreign counsel in connection with prosecution and maintenance of trademark applications/registrations outside of the United States
- Prepare and record ownership and change of name documents related to trademarks
- Conduct due diligence on trademark portfolios
- Prepare and file customs registrations and renewals with the . Customs and Border Patrol
- Prepare cost estimates for new filings
- Prepare and file copyright applications for registration
- Assist with trademark enforcement matters
- Monitor attorney dockets and manage deadlines
- Record billable hours accurately and timely

Qualifications:

Salary Information:

- $100,000 to $110,000 in New York, based on experience
