Job Title: Practice Support Team Specialist (Education Legal Assistant)

Experience:
- 3-5 years of legal support experience with a heavy focus on Education law
- Previous transcription experience preferred
- Experience working in a law firm or legal department
- Experience with e-filing and pleadings in Education law

Responsibilities:
- Coordinate workflow for assigned attorneys
- Prepare legal documents accurately and meet deadlines
- Coordinate schedules for timekeepers and make travel arrangements
- Assist with client billing matters and alternative fee arrangements
- Process new client/matter intake
- Review and route incoming and outgoing mail and faxes
- Provide general administrative support
- Work collaboratively in a team
- Effectively use team software to manage workflow
- Show proficiency in Education law, including e-filing, calendar coordination, and document edits
- Operate office equipment and remain calm under pressure
- Conduct all business in a confidential manner
- Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required; 2-year degree preferred
- Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat
- Previous transcription experience preferred
