Job Summary:

The Senior Legal Specialist is a key member of our Enterprise Operations team, responsible for providing legal support services for multiple Medicaid states, enterprise-wide functions, and complex litigation. This role requires specialized knowledge and expertise specific to the company.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and coach support staff
- Prepare and evaluate legal documentation
- Conduct legal research and analysis
- Respond to subpoenas, records requests, and inquiries
- Monitor state and federal legislation
- Attend and represent the company at legal proceedings and meetings
- Optimize solutions and practices
- Participate in projects and negotiations
- Enter information into databases or document management systems
- Handle Provider Contracting for Medicaid markets

Minimum Requirements:

- Paralegal Certification or an AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field
- 10 years of legal or related experience

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

- Experience in Medicaid or other government programs
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail
- Skilled in the use of Excel

Salary Information:

The salary range for this specific position is to per hour for candidates working in person or remotely in the following locations: California, Colorado, Hawaii, Nevada, New York, Washington State, and Jersey City, NJ.
