Faegre Drinker is seeking a Patent Specialist to join our Intellectual Property team in our downtown Indianapolis, Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, or Fort Wayne offices. This is a full-time position with the opportunity to work remotely or in our hybrid work environment. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in patent prosecution or a similar role, as well as a two-year associates degree and/or a paralegal certificate. Job Description Summary:
- Support all aspects of portfolio management
- Assist in filing US, PCT, and foreign regional patent applications and responses
- Participate in patent filing strategy discussions and due diligence
- Manage client and attorney dockets to ensure timely deadlines
- Handle ongoing US/foreign procedures and other related tasks
- Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned

- Experience composing routine correspondence
- Familiarity with US and PCT patent rules and procedures (knowledge of national laws and Paris Convention deadlines preferred)
