Position Summary:

- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience
- Strong understanding of Nevada court rules and procedures
- Background in creditors' rights tasks, including drafting dispute and demand letters, enforcing stipulated liens or agreements, determining interest accrued on debts, and renegotiating or enforcing prior workouts
- Self-starter with problem-solving skills and professionalism
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Outstanding technology literacy and e-Discovery skills
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed

Duties and Responsibilities:

- Directing staff in data and evidence management
- Assisting with case management
- Drafting correspondence, pleadings, discovery, and other legal documents
- Researching and analyzing facts and evidence using online resources
- Preparing damages analysis and working with expert witnesses
- Communicating with clients, co-counsel, courts, and other parties
- Utilizing e-discovery and other legal technologies
- Facilitating court filings and instructing docketing staff
- Preparing for and attending hearings, mediation, and trial
- Accurately tracking and recording time spent on tasks and projects
- Other duties as required

Skills and Attributes:

- Understanding of legal terminology and writing talent
- Strong knowledge of litigation workflows and processes

- Knowledge of Nevada and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure

Education and Experience:

- Minimum 5 years' civil litigation experience
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in paralegal or legal studies preferred
- NALA certification highly preferred
- Expertise in accounting and financial calculations preferred
- Creditor's rights experience desired
- Knowledge and experience with other state civil rules a plus
