Responsibilities and Practice

As an Employee Benefits & Executive Compensation Associate, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and legal advice on a wide range of employee benefits and executive compensation matters. This includes designing, implementing, and administering qualified retirement plans, health and welfare plans, equity plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements. You will also conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and effectively communicate your advice to clients.

Position Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have excellent academic credentials and a minimum of 3 years of experience advising on employee benefits and executive compensation matters. You must also be licensed to practice law in the State of Missouri and be in good standing. Additionally, we require all applicants to include a law school transcript with their application.

Personal Skills/Attributes

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent written communication skills, are detail-oriented, and have strong presentation skills. You must also be organized, efficient, and have a disciplined approach to time management. We value teamwork and collaboration, and our ideal candidate will embrace these values.

Technical Skills

In addition to having experience in employee benefits and executive compensation matters, we also value candidates who have a strong understanding of the legal framework and regulations surrounding these areas.
