This position will provide support to attorneys in the Transactional and Intellectual Property (IP) practice areas and requires prior experience as a Legal Assistant. Key Responsibilities: - Manage calendars, appointments, meetings, and travel for attorneys - Process new client/matter documentation, including conflict checks and engagement letters - Compose and prepare confidential correspondence - Transcribe, type, edit, and proofread legal documents and correspondence - Maintain and organize both hard-copy and electronic files - Communicate with clients and other attorneys in a timely and professional manner - Prepare and submit attorney expense reports and reimbursements - Enter time into time management software - Create reports using Excel - Assist with civic, charitable, community, and professional activities - Docket, track, and create reports with IP software Requirements: - - 5+ years of experience in a legal environment, preferably in transactional and/or IP practice areas - Professional demeanor and willingness to work proactively as part of a team - Exceptional communication skills via phone, email, and in-person - Strong organizational and process skills, with a keen attention to detail - Valid authorization to work in the .
