Senior Corporate Attorney - Employment Law SPS Commerce is looking for a Senior Corporate Attorney with experience in Employment Law to join our team in Minneapolis, MN. This is a full-time, regular position with a competitive salary and benefits package. As the Senior Corporate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of employment law and related compliance for SPS Commerce, a leading provider of retail supply chain solutions with a global reach. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing organization and make a significant impact in the legal department. Key Responsibilities: - Manage all aspects of employment law and related compliance for SPS Commerce across its US and international jurisdictions - Partner with Human Resources to provide day-to-day employment law advice and support all employment related policies and compliance initiatives - Perform employment law and compliance due diligence on acquisitions and manage employment litigation - Act as a strategic thought partner and trusted advisor for Human Resources leadership and other key stakeholders - Draft employment-related agreements and policies, and review and advise on employment related regulations - Advise on employment matters, both domestically and internationally, including state and federal compliance, disciplinary actions, wage & hour issues, investigations, and position eliminations - Monitor new laws, regulations and decisions affecting employment law and provide strategic advice to the Legal and HR teams - Support Human Resources on employment compliance programs and related reporting - Draft and negotiate employment-related agreements and policies - Manage all employment related disputes and litigation matters - Design and present training on employment law matters - Provide employment law support for acquisitions - Prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects effectively under pressure Qualifications: - 10+ years of relevant employment law experience, including 5+ years in-house employment law experience partnering with business, HR and legal stakeholders on employment law matters - Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions - Experience partnering with global stakeholders on employment law issues - Prior experience with employment law related diligence and transactional support on acquisitions - Prior management of outside counsel on employment-related matters - Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills - JD degree from an accredited law school and member in good standing of the applicable state bar (Minnesota) Why SPS Commerce? - We solve retail supply chain problems with innovation and automation, and we have the world's largest retail network - We believe every employee makes a difference and offer opportunities for career growth and development - We offer a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, paid time-off, 401(k), health and flexible spending accounts, stock purchase plan, and more Join our team and be a part of a dynamic and growing organization that values its employees and their contributions.
