- The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal or insurance claims handler.
- A Paralegal certificate is preferred.
- Experience in insurance defense or personal injury is a plus.
- Strong skills in pretrial discovery, hearings, arbitration, and trial preparations are required.
- The ability to prioritize tasks for multiple stakeholders and effectively manage various demands is essential.
- Experience with litigation strategy from pre-suit claims handling through trial is necessary.
- Analytical thinking, decision making, and multitasking skills are critical for this role.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, are a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and document management systems is essential.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and proactively.

Responsibilities:

- Initiate file opening and conduct investigations for newly received claims and lawsuits.
- Communicate with client legal and operations teams to gather documentation and assist in the defense of claims.
- Review status updates and identify issues to develop a strategy for moving the litigation forward.
- Conduct e-mail searches to identify relevant documents for discovery requests.
- Coordinate depositions for corporate representatives.
- Monitor the status of litigation files.

Salary Information:

- The annualized salary range for this position is $75,000 to $95,000.
- Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
