- K&L Gates, a leading global law firm, is seeking a talented and hard-working Patent Agent to join our dynamic Intellectual Property practice in Pittsburgh, PA.
- We are looking for a candidate with a background in Mechanical Engineering or Physics, and at least 3 years of experience in patent prosecution at a law firm.
- As a Patent Agent, you will support our lawyers in patent prosecution matters, including drafting applications, conducting patent searches, and preparing responses to office actions.
- This role requires a Bachelor's or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Physics, as well as admission to practice before the USPTO.
- The successful candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines, and possess excellent communication skills.
- We offer a competitive salary range of $95,000 - $130,000 per year, based on factors such as experience, expertise, and location.
