Law Firm Seeking Experienced Litigation Paralegal in Miami/Coral Gables, FL

Join the team at Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP, a leading national law firm, as a Litigation Paralegal in our Miami office. We offer competitive compensation and an excellent benefits package for this full-time position.

Responsibilities include:

- Managing case files from start to finish, including attending trials and settlements
- Preparing initial discovery and drafting responses to discovery requests
- Conducting legal research and investigating facts as requested by attorneys
- Reviewing and analyzing medical records
- Issuing subpoenas for records, including medical records
- E-Filing in both State and Federal Court systems
- Creating and organizing trial binders and exhibits using exhibit manipulation software
- Maintaining confidentiality and taking responsibility for own actions

Qualifications and experience required:

- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of insurance defense experience is a must
- Familiarity with trial preparation and participation, including exhibit manipulation software
- Knowledge of various areas of law, including insurance defense and general civil litigation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet use
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
