This full-time position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, tuition reimbursement, and paid sabbaticals. The Paralegal Assistant will work closely with paralegals and attorneys on a variety of projects, providing support and assistance on entry-level duties. This position is available in our Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, Portland, Palo Alto, and San Francisco offices. Key Responsibilities: • Assist with maintaining corporate records • Manage stock ledgers and capitalization and option plan administration • Conduct "blue sky" research and assist with state and federal filings • Assist with due diligence and review for transactions • Draft transaction documents • Attend closings for venture capital financing and merger and acquisition transactions • Maintain positive relationships with clients and maintain confidentiality • Conduct basic internet research and access information from Secretary of State websites • Keep accurate time records • Prepare materials for distribution • Obtain information from clients and third parties • Track case/matter deadlines • Perform computer database input and retrieval • Adhere to attendance expectations and be available for overtime as needed Required Skills: • Excellent organization and communication skills • Attention to detail • Interpersonal and client service skills • Analytical and problem-solving abilities • Ability to handle multiple assignments and work well under pressure • Time management skills and ability to meet deadlines • Flexibility to meet client demands on accelerated schedules • Discretion and good judgment • Accurate and timely timekeeping • Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Education and Experience: • and 1-plus years experience as a corporate paralegal • Law firm experience preferred • Fluency in Spanish (written and verbal) a plus • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Adobe, Excel, and Google Docs Compensation: • San Francisco/Bay Area: $56,400 to $80,270 annually • Los Angeles: $51,460 to $73,240 annually • Washington State: $46,610 to $66,340 annually • Portland, OR: $45,610 to $64,970 annually • Austin, TX: $44,460 to $63,300 annually • Palo Alto, CA: $56,400 to $80,270 annually Perkins Coie LLP offers a comprehensive benefits package, including an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance, accrued paid time off, personal medical and parental leave, paid holidays, and family care benefits.
