We are seeking an experienced Labor Attorney to join our dynamic and well-established practice in the Greenville, South Carolina; Atlanta, Georgia; Raleigh, North Carolina; Birmingham, Alabama; Nashville, Tennessee; and Memphis, Tennessee areas. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary and benefits package.

As a Labor Attorney at Ogletree Deakins, you will have the opportunity to work with premier local and national employers, providing legal services in all aspects of labor and employment law. This role requires 2+ years of employment and labor law experience, including handling labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns. You will have extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel, making this an excellent opportunity for proactive and passionate attorneys looking to take on a significant role within a sophisticated practice.

Responsibilities:

- Provide legal services in all aspects of labor and employment law for premier local and national employers
- Handle labor arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges, collective bargaining, and union campaigns
- Maintain extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies, and opposing counsel
- Contribute to a respectful and collegial office environment
- Attend regular all-attorney in-person conferences throughout the country
- Participate in ongoing writing, publishing, and speaking opportunities
- Engage in professional development training programs
- Work with leading attorneys in the field

Requirements:

- Juris Doctor degree
- Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of residence
- Completed formal studies of labor law
- 2+ years of labor law/employment experience
- Excellent written and analytical skills
- Outstanding academic record preferred
- Ability to travel as needed
