Latham & Watkins LLP is currently seeking experienced attorneys with a minimum of 5 years of executive compensation and employee benefits experience to join their Tax Department. This is a national search and the firm is accepting applications from candidates located in Boston, Chicago, Washington, ., Los Angeles, New York, Orange County, San Francisco, and Silicon Valley.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in company representation and compensation disclosure issues, as well as a broad understanding of transactional executive compensation and benefits matters, including the associated tax, securities, and other relevant laws. This role will also involve working with a variety of clients, including public and private companies, private equity firms, and executives.

- Ability to work with a diverse range of clients

Responsibilities:

- Providing legal advice and guidance on executive compensation and benefits matters
- Drafting and negotiating employment agreements, equity and incentive plans, and other compensation arrangements
- Assisting with compensation disclosure in public filings and other regulatory requirements
- Working closely with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
