Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Attorneys in the preparation, filing, and monitoring of immigration and nationality law matters
- Provide guidance to assignees on proprietary systems and case processing
- Increase understanding of client communication procedures and requirements
- Input client services rendered and send to accounting for processing
- Demonstrate competence in multiple case types and strive for continuous growth and knowledge
- Process advanced and varied corporate immigration cases
- Evaluate cases and escalate concerns to appropriate team members
- Prepare forms, letters, and documents for attorney review
- Manage status of filed applications and petitions
- Utilize document and data management systems to prepare, monitor, and record all aspects of client casework
- Prepare internal caseload reports for management
- Share process flow with assignees and identify problematic cases
- Perform research and initiate contact with government agencies
- Alert Senior Paralegal and/or attorney of potential process delays or problems

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or Paralegal Certificate from ABA approved program
- At least 1 year of law-related experience under a licensed attorney or 1+ year(s) . corporate immigration experience
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrates sound judgment and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors and correct work
- Superior client service skills
- Able to prioritize cases, caseload, and other assigned tasks
- Ability to meet deadlines and goals
- Proficient in MS Office and able to learn and navigate proprietary software

Salary Information:
- Salary range of $62,000 to $65,900 in California
- Offer will consider education, licensure, certifications, experience, and skills
- It is not typical to be hired at the top of the range

Working Conditions:
- Able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time
- Able to perform general office administrative activities
- Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Regular and on-time attendance required
- Must be able to prioritize, schedule, and complete testing for multiple applications
- Creativity and flexibility required
- Hours may exceed 40 hours per week
- Occasional travel within the region and to other locations may be required
