The law firm is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Assistant to join their Boston office. This role will provide administrative support to members, associates, and legal assistants within the Litigation practice. The ideal candidate will have a college degree or relevant work experience, 1+ year's secretarial or administrative experience, and knowledge of legal terminology, civil procedures, and the court system. This is a full-time position with 60% in office presence and 40% remote work permissible.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and other documents in an accurate and timely manner.
- Manage and maintain calendar by scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
- Actively manage attorney/paralegal billable time and process check requests.
- Initiate conflict process, draft engagement letters, and submit intake documentation for processing.
- Provide quality client service by communicating professionally with internal and external clients, answering phones, and greeting clients.
- Coordinate with assigned teams and section mates.
- Manage all administrative details on attorney projects, including workflow between clients, timekeepers, production, and night assistance.
- Participate in training opportunities to advance skill levels and efficiency in firm software.
- Communicate regularly with the Managing Clerk's office.
- Maintain case calendars, accurately calendar attorneys' due dates, and arrange for court reporters and notify parties and witnesses of court dates.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested.

Qualifications:
- College degree or relevant work experience required.
- 1+ year's secretarial or administrative experience, preferably in a legal or professional services organization.
- Knowledge of legal terminology, civil procedures, and discovery is required.
- Knowledge of the court system and filing documents with courts and other agencies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to execute through to completion.
- Creative problem-solving skills, reasoning ability, and logical thought process.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize competing demands, meet various deadlines, and respond quickly to changing priorities.
- Ability to professionally interact and collaborate with colleagues at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Outstanding sense of customer service.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and positive attitude.
- Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion.
- Self-motivated to produce quality work.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Flexibility to work overtime when necessary.
