This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-level associate to work on a variety of white collar, SEC, and general commercial litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in white-collar defense, securities litigation, and complex business litigation. Job Title: Fort Worth Securities Litigation Associate Department: Business Litigation Practice Group Location: Fort Worth, Texas Experience: 3-5 years Key Responsibilities: - Work primarily on white collar, SEC, and general commercial litigation matters - Represent public companies, audit and special committees, hedge funds, private equity funds, asset managers, broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, accountants and lawyers, and other institutions in a wide variety of disputes - Conduct investigations and defend organizations against allegations of misconduct or fraud - Advise on compliance and defend organizations and individuals through all stages of investigations initiated by the SEC, the Texas State Securities Board, FINRA, DOJ, and other state and SRO securities regulators - Handle complex business litigation cases - Prepare for depositions, e-discovery, motion practice and trial preparation in commercial cases - Mentor and be mentored by more experienced attorneys - Provide specific feedback and evaluation at regular intervals - Foster a diverse and inclusive work environment Qualifications: - Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in securities litigation, with a focus on white-collar defense, SEC matters, and complex commercial litigation - Experience at an AmLaw 200 firm preferred - Strong litigation skills, including deposition preparation, e-discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation - Top third of law school class preferred - Strong academic record, with transcript provided Why Winstead? - Collegial and cooperative work environment - Competitive benefits package - Clear path for professional growth and development - Commitment to diversity and inclusivity - Support for personal and professional goals at every stage of your career Winstead PC is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in the workplace.
