Don't expect to be patted on the back but also don't confuse that with a bad work environment. Make sure to work hard and put yourself out there so that you will be noticed.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
The firm has a reputation for being a more fun and laid back work environment and that is evident as soon as you walk through the door. You are always greeted with friendliness and a smile. They try to keep the environment as positive as possible and the attorneys really want to help the staff.

What did you not like about this institution?
The firm is competitive within some of the departments so it can become easy to know your place and what your exact position is within the Firm. You have to look out for yourself if you want to move up because they don't really notice hard work.

Management needs to be a little more respondent on problems that arise. The quicker its dealt with, the better.

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
My whole time here has been great and full of energized people and lots of group think. The benefits are great.

What did you not like about this institution?
The management team needs to focus on the priorities during the day and get rid of problems quickly.

Practice Law instead of extortion. I think this has been going on for a long time. TDI is not run like other States? Why?

What were the things that you liked most about this employer?
‘Special Privileges’ only for Winstead Law Firm. That’s not right. Consumers that file inquiry or complaint with Texas Department of Insurance- Winstead Law Firm has access to get. Guess who told me ‘Lloyd’s of London’ won’t pay my claim unless I waive Bill of rights, deceptive trade practices and freedom of speech? Winstead Law Firm. I am not allowed to fill out complaint with TDI. Who gives them power as representing the State and have Winstead Private Clients that enjoyed money instead of purchasing insurance. Lloyd’s of London and Winstead needs to be investigated., Insurance isn’t regulated.,Winstead is regulating. Who is looking into taxes the State is NOT getting because of the arrangement?

The Worst Law Firm

People, departments, offices, products, services and whatever comes to mind that should be avoided at this institution
Winstead Attorneys that play public side and private client side.

How could this employer run its business to employees or the public better?
One day the State of Texas of going to realize how much blackmail and extortion has been done by your firm Your firm should be held accountable.

My manager and colleagues are very kind, helpful and supportive. Winstead has done a lot during the pandemic. I was not expecting a raise and bonus at the end of 2020 and Winstead made it happen. They also provided lunch during the pandemic and offered free parking to employees who had to pay for it.ConsI cannot really think of a con. But if I have to, I would say the traffic in Dallas downtown is a con.
