We are currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team and support our attorneys in all aspects of personal injury trials. Responsibilities: - Prepare and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and complaints - E-file court documents in state and federal courts - Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and other parties involved in the case - Conduct legal research and factual investigations - Prepare discovery documents and responses - Coordinate and summarize depositions - Draft and serve summons - Prepare trial binders and exhibits - Draft pleadings, motions, and appellate documents and file them with the court - Perform administrative duties such as calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, and manage logistics - Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes - Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices - Assist attorney with interrogatories and other discovery requests - Gather relevant information from various sources - Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties - Prepare witnesses for trial - Assist with case settlements - Other tasks as requested by the attorney Qualifications: - Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred) - 2+ years of litigation experience (preferred) - Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred) - Experience in personal injury, workers' compensation, premises liability, or other injury-related practice areas (preferred) - Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with minimal supervision - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings - Knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules and procedures, and practices - Highly organized with the ability to handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment - Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and typing skills of at least 35 words per minute Benefits: - Medical and dental insurance - 401(k) plan - Paid time off and holidays Equal Opportunity Statement: Morgan & Morgan is an equal opportunity employer and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
