Responsibilities of a Medical Malpractice Paralegal

As a Medical Malpractice Paralegal at Saxton & Stump, you will be responsible for supporting our attorneys in delivering top-notch legal services to our clients in medical malpractice cases. Your duties will include organizing and submitting legal documents, conducting thorough reviews of medical records, coordinating case closings, drafting and reviewing legal documents, maintaining a centralized database of case-related information, engaging with clients, conducting legal research, and assisting in preparing materials for legal proceedings. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development and maintenance of resources and tools specific to medical malpractice law within the legal practice.

Requirements for the Role

To be considered for the role of Medical Malpractice Paralegal, you must have a Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an accredited program. Additionally, you must have at least 5 years of experience as a medical malpractice litigation paralegal in a law firm setting. A strong understanding of medical malpractice, proficiency in legal research and document drafting, and excellent organizational and multitasking skills are also required. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are also essential for this role.
