As a Legal Assistant at our firm, you will provide essential support and administration to our team of lawyers and legal professionals. Your responsibilities as a Legal Assistant will include:

- Processing workloads and tasks for assigned states according to firm procedures and client/investor requirements
- Handling collateral document oversight for west coast teams
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Communicating with third parties such as courts and title vendors
- Handling service and firm transfer tasks
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and client requirements through QC tasks
- Coordinating files for client audits
- Maintaining reference matrices for state, court, and client rules
- Assisting with additional tasks or projects as needed to support foreclosure teams

Job Requirements:

- High School Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal
- Experience with judicial foreclosure highly preferred
- Knowledge of multi-state legal and/or foreclosure processes preferred
- Strong knowledge of legal principles, research techniques, and terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to adapt to change
