Responsibilities:

Trial support, including pre-trial and post-trial logistics
Conducting research for client matters
Participating in due diligence, privilege, and other reviews of client records and files
Initiating pleadings, fact and expert discovery, and motion practice
Assisting with organization of client materials and attorney work product
Maintaining pleadings files and other case or project records
Maintaining chronological records of project activity
Arranging filings, mailings, and service list deliveries
Drafting, editing, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents
Obtaining services from outside contractors
Processing billing and disbursement paperwork
Acting as liaison for the project team with support staff departments and other offices of the Firm

The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and be willing to work overtime as needed.

The IP Litigation Paralegal will have a wide range of responsibilities, including:

Conducting statutory, regulatory, or factual research for client matters
Participating in due diligence, privilege, and other reviews of client records and files
Initiating pleadings, fact and expert discovery, and motion practice
Assisting with organization of client materials and attorney work product, utilizing databases and other technology
Maintaining pleadings files and other case or project records
Keeping a record of project activity
Arranging filings, mailings, and service list deliveries with relevant parties
Drafting, editing, and assisting in the preparation of legal documents
Obtaining services from outside contractors, such as court reporters and research services
Processing billing and disbursement paperwork
Acting as a liaison for the project team with support staff departments and other offices of the Firm
