Summary:

The Remote Employee Relations Partner at Ryder is responsible for providing tactical Employee Relations consultation to managers and employees, conducting HR investigations, and analyzing data to monitor employee relations trends. This position also provides guidance on policies and procedures to minimize legal liability.

Essential Functions:

- Oversee daily administration of reported concerns and conduct investigations in accordance with company policies and regulations
- Provide guidance on employee conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and termination
- Partner with various teams to create solutions for complex employee relations issues
- Ensure high-quality HR support through performance management, mitigating legal risk, and collaborating with COEs

Additional Responsibilities:

- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements and employment legislation
- Travel to company sites within supported region as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned

Skills and Abilities:

- Ability to conduct sensitive investigations and identify violations of regulations and policies
- Strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills
- Impartiality and strong conflict resolution skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in human resources, organizational management, law, or equivalent major; or additional 4 years of experience
- 5+ years of experience in HR compliance, HR generalist, or employee relations
- Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Salary Information:

The salary for this position ranges from $60K to $70K per year, based on internal equity, market data, skills, and experience.
