Summary: - Legal Aid Service of Broward County (LASBC) is a non-profit pro bono law firm in Southern Florida that provides free civil legal advice, representation, and education to the disadvantaged in Broward County. - The firm has more than 125 employees, including 50 attorneys, who work towards expanding access to justice for all and challenging systems, laws, and policies that adversely affect the underserved and marginalized. - LASBC is currently looking for a Special Projects Paralegal to assist the managing attorney in providing high-quality legal services, including drafting legal documents, organizing case files, and conducting intake and outreach. - The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience in complex litigation, strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work effectively with a large caseload in a highly stressful environment. - Persons of color, veterans, persons with disabilities, and persons from other traditionally underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply. - The salary for this full-time position ranges from $45,000 to $50,000, and LASBC offers a generous benefits package that includes health, vision, dental, and life insurance, retirement, and generous annual and sick leave allotments. - To apply, interested candidates should send a cover letter, resume, and references to Brittney Parks at .
