# Administrative Assistant at Law Firm ## Job Overview The Administrative Assistant at Law Firm will provide general administrative assistance to attorneys who work on a wide range of tax, financial, banking and insurance matters. The ideal candidate will possess the intellectual curiosity to understand the legal work that is being performed and anticipate support needs proactively. Excellent communication and organizational skills, technological savvy, and the ability to work collaboratively with billing professionals and staff in a fast-paced environment are essential. ## Job Duties * Communicating and interacting with clients and callers * Assisting in maintaining attorneys’ calendars * Drafting correspondence * Updating/closing files and photocopying * Filing documents and managing electronic filing for attorneys * Preparing and coordinating filings and the delivery of materials to government agencies * Performing online background factual research as needed * Maintaining and tracking CLE records * Keeping attorneys apprised of deadlines * Assisting with volunteer and client development matters periodically * Daily time entry and review using time and expense software * Attending Firm sponsored training to maintain required skill level and knowledge of software applications ## Qualifications * * Experience in business administration or a professional services environment with law firm experience beneficial * Advanced working knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat Pro * Excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and a positive “can do” attitude * Excellent time management and prioritization skills and able to multi-task while still completing routine tasks with little direction ## Salary The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. ## Application Instructions
