Perkins Coie LLP, a leading law firm, is seeking a highly motivated Patent Prosecution Paralegal to join their nationally recognized Intellectual Property group. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in supporting all phases of . patent prosecution matters. This is a full-time position with opportunities available in multiple locations, including Boise, ID, Palo Alto, CA, San Diego, CA, Los Angeles, CA, Portland, OR, Austin, TX, and Seattle, WA.

Key responsibilities for this role include preparing and filing patent and design applications and prosecution documents via the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) electronic filing system, communicating with clients and government agencies, managing dockets and tracking deadlines, and conducting legal research and factual investigations. The ideal candidate must possess a thorough understanding of . and PCT patent prosecution processes, procedures, and databases, as well as superb organizational, analytical, and communication skills. A Paralegal Certificate or bachelor's degree is preferred, and a minimum of five years of recent experience as a patent prosecution secretary or paralegal is required.
