Wicker Smith Law Firm is a leading law firm in Tampa, Florida with an immediate opening for a Litigation Paralegal. The ideal candidate for this position will have 2-3 years of experience in litigation and a strong understanding of legal processes. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent research and writing skills. Paralegal certification is preferred, but not required.

As a Litigation Paralegal at Wicker Smith Law Firm, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of cases and gain valuable experience in the legal field. Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare extensive trial preparation, including compiling exhibits for exhibit exchanges
- Review discovery to gather additional information for obtaining records with NPNP/Subpoenas
- Summarize medical records and be familiar with medical terminology
- Prepare discovery responses, answer interrogatories and requests to produce
- Calendar deadlines for motions, responses and other pleadings
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Exercise sound judgment and think creatively
- Work independently

Requirements:

- Two-year degree in paralegal studies or related field
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Ability to type at least 45 wpm
- Familiar with reviewing discovery and summarizing information
- Paralegal certification preferred
- Ability to work independently
