Law Firm Seeking Conflicts Coordinator for Ethics Conflicts Department - Competitive Salary and Benefits Offered

Introduction:

**Members Only**, a leading law firm, is currently seeking a Conflicts Coordinator to join our Ethics Conflicts Department. This is a full-time, remote position with the option to work from various locations in NC, SC, GA, and AL. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

Job Description:

As a Conflicts Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Conflicts Team. Your responsibilities will include reviewing conflicts reports, conducting corporate research, and working closely with our General Counsel's Office on lateral hire and new business intake conflicts assignments. You will also be responsible for maintaining our conflicts database, preparing conflicts documentation, and staying updated on best practices and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Review, vet and process requests for conflicts searches
- Conduct corporate research and conflicts checks to generate conflicts reports
- Collaborate with the General Counsel's Office on lateral hire and new business intake conflicts assignments
- Prepare general conflicts summaries for firm lawyers and General Counsel's Office based on conflict database details
- Interact with attorneys and firm personnel to discuss conflicts data and potential action items
- Maintain and update conflicts database to record all conflict-related activities
- Follow best practices and stay current with process improvements
- Work on other conflicts-related projects as required

Requirements:

- or equivalent combination of education and three years of related experience and/or training
- Attention to detail and ability to perform each duty satisfactorily
- Excellent client service skills with strong oral and written communication abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
- Effective communication and information sharing with good judgment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- Punctuality and satisfactory attendance
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Working knowledge of technology, such as Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Experience with Intapp intake/conflicts software is a plus
